How do I create a MySQL Database in cPanel?
This article will explain to you how to create a MySQL database in cPanel.There are 2 ways to create MySQL database in cPanel:
Creating database from MySQL Databases menu
- Login to your control panel ( http://domain.com/cpanel )
- Under the Databases section, click on MySQL Databases link.
- Under the Create New Database section enter the name for your new MySQL database. Then click on the Create Database button.
- This is it.
Creating databases from MySQL Databases Wizard tool
- Login to your control panel ( http://domain.com/cpanel )
- Under the Databases section, click on the MySQL Database Wizard link.
- Under the Create New Database section enter the name for your new MySQL database. Then click on the Create Database button.
- Add a user to your new database by entering a username and password then click on the Create New User button.
- Set permission for the user regarding access to the new database. Then click on the Next Step button.
- This is it.
NOTE: In the instructions below you should replace domain.com with your registered domain name.
